I'm midway through watching an Insider video interviewing a former 'elite' soldier of North Korea who defected. He said, besides the extreme rationing of everything else, he only got to fire about three bullets PER YEAR, and that they train with zero ammunition, pretend shooting their targets.

Imagine being a 'soldier' with less experience than a kid with a bb gun he got for Christmas, suddenly in the war with Ukraine.
