Half Hour Heresy: Easy Emperor's Children! [How I Paint Things]
Показать описание
Look how short that required paint list is!
The Emperor's Children are a Legion where everyone has their own interpretation of how they ought to look. Even with Citadel-branded paints which bear names related to the sons of Fulgrim, getting the 'right' shade of purple depends as much on one's taste as a practiced eye - as with most of the Heresy era miniatures, there's no right answer. Finding a colour primer you like and sticking to that takes the hard part out of the equation!
Today's video does feature some odd lighting due to an issue Vegas had with reading the recording; after converting and adjusting it to something that could be used, I had to eyeball the contrast and lighting settings. It's not perfect, but the picture in the thumbnail and splash page at the end of the video is the most accurate.
00:00 - Intro
00:37 - Priming the Miniature: Getting the Right Purple!
02:31 - Painting Time
