The Great Boston Art Heist (1990):
In 1990, two men dressed as police officers entered the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and stole 13 priceless artworks, including pieces by Vermeer and Rembrandt. They tied up the guards and spent 81 minutes stealing the art, worth over $500 million. To this day, the case remains unsolved, and the artworks have never been recovered.
