Make A WordPress Website On Your Own Computer

With this free tool you can create a website on your own computer, share it with friends and clients and build websites while being on a plane. It is a great way to get your feet wet in the world of Wordpress websites. The tool called LocalWP is completely free!

I will show you how to install a free tool called Local on your PC, Mac or Linux computer. Then we will create our first WordPress website
I will walk you through the preferences, so you can change the layout of Local, or change the layout of Local.

Through this tutorial you will learn how to create a blueprint website. That is a website that you have created, maybe with your favourite page builder an a few plugins. You can save that website as a blueprint and use that blueprint for any new website you will make. In that way you don’t have to download that page builder and all those plugin every time when you create a website.
I will show you how you can share your local website with your clients, so they can see what you have created.

At the end of the tutorial I show you how to transfer your local website to a live website.

I'm on windows 10. When I tried to make my local site secured by clicking Trust, the computer prompted my site is not private, and my data is at risk of getting stolen. Why is that? Any help here? Thanks

If you're running Windows, Laragon is a better alternative if you're concerned with system resources or speed. If you need to share the site with someone across the web, Local is definitely the way to go. Although, Laragon can run from a thumb drive and can be easily moved from one computer to another.
