Probability Comparison: Most Hated Numbers

Many people panic when they have to deal with numbers. In a recent Ogilvy PR survey, 60% of Americans reported having difficulty dealing with numbers in simple, everyday situations. Even more telling? Nearly a third of Americans surveyed said they’d rather clean the bathroom than try to solve a math problem. This is called number-phobic. But today we're talking about a lightly different thing. There are people who hate specific numbers, this might be due to superstitions, past experiences...etc. Here is a probability comparison
of the most hated numbers.

I don't hate any of them. I've been obsessed with numbers since I was little.

The reason why 17 is considered bad luck in Italy is bc in the Latin numbers 17 is XVII and is anagrammed whit XIVI (or VIXI, i don't remember), that means "I lived" ("I am death", in other words) from Latin.
Greetings from Italy!

It's impossible to hate a number but it's possible to dislike a number.

I think a lot of us love 7 but let's just be honest, who hates numbers?

In 10th Standard I got 89% ( <90%) , hence failed to get A+ . It's natural to hate this number

For me, my unlucky number is 7 because, in 2007, they tried to make the Eurovision three times over after unsuccessful 2005 and 2006 editions, but it failed to qualify and we had to wait for next final with Poland in 2014, and my mum was poisoned on February 26th, 2023, which was Sunday, seventh day of week.

I could have a mental breakdown over a new kid named Jorge so 39, 420, 18, 22 & 49 are NOT my number friends. 39 for 2 reasons, 420 & 49. 39 is a to 5 week equivalency & I got a fever around 39 C. At 4:20am, I was awaken in pain(nightmares over Jorge)? I got a 49% on my exam, due to being unable to keep up. Also 18 & 22 because I "hibernated." It took Jorge 5 weeks to adapt to a new environment, also I was sick for 5 weeks one time over Ivan. Unaware on why I kept on getting sick, I faced fevers around 39 C. Started when was crying on his 1st day of school. Half the day, he was inconsolable. While calming him down, the teacher asked him either, "Jorge, do you need to use the bathroom?" or "Jorge, do you need to take a walk or something?" I seem vulnerable to infections as it's socially "dangerous" for me.

Here are some common illnesses/symptoms I experienced, concerning "Jorge The Nervous New Kid"
#1) High fevers (of 100-104 F) equivalent to 39 C
#2) fatigue/drowsiness(even sleeping all day for 18-22H) aka "sleeping beauty" in real life
#3) vomiting(70% of the sick days) leads to dehydration
#4) COVID-19(there are days of "congratulations, you've caught COVID-19 over Jorge") positive test 3 times
#5) diarrhea(associated with vomiting and nausea)ie. food poisoning when Jorge drink the milk & somehow contaminated
#6) Flu(along with the outbreaks/time of the year)
#7) aches anywhere(resulting from inflammation or other illnesses) ie. arthritis
#8) RSV(due to being unable to work with kids, my immunity also wasn't "challenged enough" either-more susceptible)
#9) Fainting spells(results from dizziness when the illness took it's toll or side effects)
#10) Vital signs abnormal(I ended up being having to visit the nearest clinic & immediately seeing the MD)
Also, Jorge ended up in the wheelchair due to breaking a bone, involved in a playground accident. At the same time, I ended up as a victim of the tridemic(covid, RSV & flu) this year I had to be hospitalized. I fainted suddenly & temporary don't remember what exactly happened except my cursed thoughts of Jorge the new kid. I "ruled out" these numbers that don't agree with me.

I'm surprised the number 86 didn't make it onto this list. To "86" someone means to expel them from your business, home, life, and whatnot. I've never known why 86 gets such negative connotation to have that definition.

I like all integers.
127, 191, 911 and the negatives of these integers are considered ones I don't like as much
how come "1945" didn't make it?
If you include all numbers, I don't like the numbers considered "incomputable numbers." The idea scares me.
0, infinity, -infinity are my 3 favorite numbers.

I hate 313 since ECE 313 is Probability with Engineering Applications, an extremely difficult class since it combines two classes into one and the professor has difficulty explaining hard concepts well.
