These cars make the greatest intake noise of all time so I usually say you dont need an aftermarket exhaust but this one sounds perfect! Its a little deeper and louder without taking away from the induction sound. 10/10

They both sound good honestly. I’d probably to stick to OEM just to avoid the drone because the OEM one sounds awesome from this clip

Both sound awesome. The aftermarket exhaust gives it more of a throaty rumble.

I had a militek cat back on mine and sounded great but honestly it’s all about induction sound on these, CSL box all day long!

Mine with the eisenmann exhaust and CSL intake is the perfect balance in my opinion, and keeps the rasp 👌🏻

to anyone who owns an m3 do yourself a favor before changing the exhaust and get a good set of headers that’ll really make then difference, i suggest state gruppe but my personal favorite that is very rare are the agency power ones

Difficult to ear any difference, by the time being with th appreciating aspect I wld keep it 100% stock and save my money...

I don’t necessary love the stock sound, but non turbo 6 cylinder cars sound horrendous. So putting an aftermarket exhaust on is not the choice. CSL airbox is the only mod you need.

Aftermarket but if your s54 is burning oil youre toast.
