Hello, A subscriber asked for a beginner guide on Rust crates so I made this video to help out other people :)

Can you resell crafted crates? If yes then here is big brain mode for epic profit:
1) Buy cheapest skins
2) Scrap them
3) Craft crates
4) Sell crates for more than you paid for those skins
5) Start again from point 1

WARNING: To reskin items in the game you must have one in your inventory. Never break down a skin from your inventory unless you don't care to make that skin or have more than one. Example: If you have two Hunting Jackets in your inventory and you break down one you will still be able to skin Hunting Jacket in the game. If you break down the second one, you will no longer be able to make that skin in the game until you get another one in your inventory. This is why you are warned before being allowed to access your inventory.

what i dont get is i got a free weapons barrel somehow... i never paid for it or anything it was the first item in my inventory when i found out about it, do you get one free with your account or something? iv been trying to find out how ppl get skins for free from playing? as the market cant all be things u got from twitch or paid for as twitch ones cant be sold and who would pay 5$ for a door only to sell it on the market for $0.59 ?

How do you get wood, cloth, and metal. I’m a new player and I played for an hour for my first time and when I checked my steam inventory I had 1 metal. Did I accidentally scrap a skin? I just started playing so idk how I would have had one. Is there no other way of obtaining these 3 materials other than buying and scraping skins? Can u get them from playing in game?

Your not wrong on the percentages iv seen someone else do this and they had similar numbers as we'll as stating the HQC is the best option too go for.

so basicly the only way originally was to purchase an item from the ingame item store - break it down for materials - that seems as a very expensive way to do it.... as items cost $1+ and you only get one material. So if you have no skins at all on your brand new account the only way to get skins is to buy materials and/or skins on steam market.

Theres actually 2 more ways, thats by item code like the rust chair, and the random free skin when you play rust.
