My New Early Medieval Wargame Rules

In this video I describe a new set of tabletop miniature wargame rules that I have written, covering the period up to 1200AD or so. Although I have called them "Manic Medieval Mayhem", these rules can also be used for fantasy and ancient wargames. Indeed, I have been using them in place of my previous rule set for some of the more recent Halfland battles.
The video provides enough information to play a game using the rules. If you are interested in the detail, and would like a written version of the rules, then drop an e-mail to the channel’s email address and I will send you a copy free of charge. Just remember that these are my rules, written for my use, using language that I understand, and manage your expectations accordingly.

I’m curious if you’ve played the forbidden lands rpg or are familiar with it. It has my favorite medieval combat rules so far. Even though it’s not really made for big battles.

I noticed you had, I believe, halflings in one picture on round bases. Is there a reason you chose round bases for them? I know you said in another video that you preferred square/rectangular ones.
