How to Model Antennas in COMSOL Multiphysics®

In this video, we show you how to model a dipole antenna in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software. After watching this video, you will have a solid foundation for creating models of more complex antenna geometries, as the process for building different antenna models is essentially the same.

We start by building the antenna geometry; adding material properties; and applying boundary conditions, such as for the impedance, scattering, and lumped port feed. After setting up the model, we automatically mesh it using physics-controlled meshing based on the wavelength and solve for a specific frequency. Several results are extracted from the solution, including the electric and magnetic fields, 2D and 3D far fields, S-parameters, and surface losses.

can I simulate a cylindrical conductor near a loop antenna where the loop antenna picks up the fields from the conductor in comsol?

Good day Sir, I am new to COMSOL. I want to model a point source from which Electric Field spreads out in x, y directions. I am working in 2D plane.
I started of by creating a geometry with air, and then specified my point. How do I assign electric field to my point?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi..
Can build structure as nanoribbon or nanographene or any material from molecular in periodic table then make doping it.. By using comsol??

Hi Comsol,

I'm Rubén Bosch, I have done a helix with work plahe which are capacitors to the matching network and the supply. If I do " Form union" with helix (copper)+work plane (Perfect Electric Conductor) +sphere (air), I can define the work plane with PEC but I can't define the Impedance Boundary Condition for the Helix. On other hand, If I do " Form Assembly" with helix (copper)+work plane (Perfect Electric Conductor) +sphere (air), I can define Impedance Boundary Condition for the helix but I can't define the work plane like PEC. is there some way to obtain both solutions? can you show me the solutions with photos?

Thanks

Bonsoir monsieur, j'espère que vous allez bien, bon monsieur comment je veux construire une source des photos dans logiciel comsol ? Et merci d'avance.
