Man, I got to say, you should definitely do more high end furniture builds. I've always loved watching your videos since they are so informative and your narration is amazing. This style of video really show us just how creative you are and makes us imagine what you can come up with next. Thanks for another awesome video Scott!

This is the most beautiful build ive seen on YouTube in a while. Everyone becomes repetitive in their builds which is understandable because it's a business for most of yall but every once in a while it's nice to see self purpose builds because creative restrictions get lifted.

Learned the hard way after making my office desk, that my 120 hour project with its super cool design didn't actually work with my ergonomic needs... i bought a sit stand desk... now my sexy desk sits awkwardly at my inlaws house as an anniversary gift. I wish you a longer relationship with your design, awesome work.

-Says he has twiggy arms.
-Uses a 1.5" radius router bit in a handheld router.

This man has more balls than most of us.

Dude, I like seeing any self deprecating videos.Especially the ones featuring beautiful furniture.

You are definitely more of a sculptor than a furniture maker. And I don't mean this in the sense that you should drop making furniture and stick to sculpting, quite the opposite. I ALWAYS appreciate the boldness and Ownership of Creative Choice in bringing a sensibility of one domain into another (especially when it's even frowned upon), to bring out newness and a one-of-a-kind touch to any piece that you do. Beautiful subtlety in your light-shadow play throughout your artwork.

Very well done, thanks for the depth and honesty over mistakes and corrections. I don’t comment often. I’ve watched every channel out there for woodworking it feels, looking for inspiration.. this is the most appealing style I’ve seen in quite some time. For me, I like the mortise and tenon just for my own twisted pleasure knowing how I made it (yea I did that) but I love how you made dominoes work in multiple ways. I like the slender but hefty, blocky but curving style you took here. Out of my league for now but your mistakes tips and ideas for brass work made it to my playbook. Well Done.

Very well executed Scott! This feels as if it would fit perfectly in a designers office at Pagani, BMW, or Mclaren.

Loved the build video and that you show the "issues" that come up and how you fixed them. Thanks for the great work and effort!

I’ve learned the hard way to not hope for the best and just start milling and cutting. A plan makes things easier.

Really beautiful desk! And, a great video to boot!
I turned this on with the intention of working while it played in the background. Started the video and couldn't look away for the whole 40 minutes.
Excellent work Scott, keep it up man!

Absolutely beautiful work, Scott. And showing the "mistakes" and iteration along the way is definitely reassuring for us newbies. If it's fun for you, more high-end furniture videos would be a treasure for us :)

Wow Scott! I have been watching your videos to learn about shop-related projects, wood working techniques, etc. - and then this! The design is gorgeous and reminds me a bit of my favourite Danish designer Georg Jensen - this type of work is my North Star aspiration/inspiration! The breadth of skills that you have to present this content to us is amazing - the woodworking skills are what we come for but the videography, soundtrack-ography(?), scripting-ograthy, lighting, editing - and now design skills are awe-some. Thank you for what you do and for sharing what you do. I plan to stick around for more!

Love this! More content like this would be amazing. Love the inclusion of the honest mistakes and how you moved forward positively. Can’t get enough of this way of thinking, so much more helpful for everyone and thinks they need perfection every time
