Memorize Psalm 121 through this song!

What if we know the Scriptures by heart? 🤍

One of the reasons why the Bible has a songbook (that’s the Psalms) is because songs help us remember. It’s easier to memorize with a melody compared to a block of text.

And when we know Scripture by heart, we’re strong enough to ward off the enemy’s schemes.

A couple of months ago, I was intentionally memorizing Psalm 121. I wrote it on a whiteboard and recited it everyday.

But my friend Charlene had a better idea—to sing the psalm. (Because that’s what it’s really intended for!)

So we played random chords on the piano and the melody just flowed through. It’s the Lord’s project indeed.

And sure enough… the goal was met, we’ve memorized the Psalm! And the words felt more alive in my heart more than ever before.

So now we’re sharing it to you, guys.

Here’s Psalm 121 (English Standard Version). We didn’t revise a bit of text from the chapter so we’re singing straight out of Scripture here.
