ESP Guitars: Bloodstock 2022 - Josh Middleton (Sylosis/Architects) Interview

UK-based ESP rocker Pat Heath was able to spend some time behind the scenes at last summer's Bloodstock Open Air Festival with ESP signature artist Josh Middleton (Sylosis/Architects) for an in-depth interview where Josh discusses many aspects of his LTD JM-II Signature Series guitar, among many other topics. This guitar features bolt-on construction with an alder body and quilted maple top, and a three-piece roasted maple neck in an extra-thin u-shaped profile. Other features include 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups with push-pull control to select voicings, LTD locking tuners and a recessed Gotoh TOM bridge with string-thru-body design.

Some of the new LTDs are spec'd out soo sweet, I can't see paying 2-3 times as much to have E.S.P. on the headstock. The main reason I buy them, is the classic designs with modern specs, that nobody else is offering in the price range. If I wanted all the features that TE1000 Black Blast has(sitting there on the left) in another brands model, you can't even begin to touch it for under 2k. If you can get your hands on one of these new 1000 series LTDs your winning.

Josh please get another vocalist/guitarist to the band and focus on the best melodic riffs like the songs in COAA and EOTE. Trying to do the best vocals at the same time just a setback for your guitarwork imho.
