I love how this conveys how much pain he's really in. His whole world is shattering before him as its just a game, something meant to be entertaining and nothing more.

Your Copy always felt like it could be more than just a simple change of artstyle during the "last phase" of the song
Those animations really live up to it and if we're gonna get 5 minutes of this it will be INSANE.

0:07 i love this i love how his poses are actual animations that you can see in mario 64 when doing certain things and the weird jumping thing while being glued to the ground (which i guess was popularized by smg4) by glitching out the game and stuff and im probably looking too much into this but 0:13 kind of looks like that one animation that would play when you are in like a cold area or something and mario breathes in his hands

0:31 mario falls into the pipe, but instead bf comes out the other side. both constantly have their worlds shifted by modifications, glitches, or other ways of changing their world. and while bf enjoys it and takes pride in it, mario is constantly being agonized and tormented by it. i love this

0:43 it goes without saying but this part is really damn cool

0:53 has to be my favorite scene out of all of the ones here. we see this version of mario platforming on his decaying world as if it was just another level for him to overcome. no matter how much of his world falls apart, and no matter how far away he shifts from his original character, its still mario, and he still has a goal to complete, to reach the end of the level and finish the game

1:12 this kind of even furthers my point that bf and mario are one of the same with how their worlds constantly change but in the end they will both find peace

can we just... apricate how much floombo's animations add to any song, the pure EMOTION i felt in every frame is just insane!
i have listened to Your Copy a multitude of times and i gotta say i have never felt the feelings i just felt without this animation, props to you man.

I love that the bits of Mario's body hair that would normally be textures are rendered more like paint or ink. it makes it feel like they were desperately blotted on to try and fix something that went wrong with how he was his generated.

Hes mario...he wants to be... yet...in this world..he cannot be...trapped within the betas...forced to watch his world collapse over and over...at the will of his own and others....i cried man.

Minor detail, the second clip you could tell he was really trying to mimic bf...yet he could not...he can't be something without something...
