If too much serotonin can cause anxiety and too little serotonin can cause depression, how can someone have both anxiety and depression?

Please, i have a question . I want to know how does hyperkalemia affect repolarization in skeletal muscles? . Does it will prevent repolarization because chemical gradient will decrease in hyperkalemia and that will slow Potassium efflux and then repolarization or that's wrong and there's another mechanism? Plz, answer me .
