Very clear, thank you. What are the concentrations of RA and FGF traveling in? Totally extracellular goo? What are the main molecules? Are there experiments showing that anything (like temp) could slow down or speed up the clock? If so is it by affecting the movement of RA and FGF, or the cycle time of the neg feedback loops?

If possible could you give the answer to review question 2? I believe it has to do with pre-determined cells but I am not quit sure how the orientation effects the development ...
