I'd kill for a Switch remaster on this one. The Wizard was always my fav for these Wii era ones tbh

One thing about Animal Parade that I like was it builds on the rival marriages where eventually the couples have their own kids as well. However, because Animal Parade from what I remember is the last HM game to include rival marriages, this is the only game where new children can be introduced as a result of rival marriages

when this game inevitably gets a remake i just really hope they leave the character designs as they are and bring back the original artist, the art style and character designs in this game are genuinely the best in the series in my eyes. also praying that they don't oversaturate the colors of the environment like they did with a wonderful life, the more muted and realistic colors are part of the vibe imo

When I played as a kid I fell in love with the Wizard. To this day he's my favorite marriage candidate in any of these life Sims ever.

Man, I miss this game. It changed my life. I even had a fanfic from this game grow so out of control it became an original high fantasy story I've been writing for over a decade now. I really hope they reboot it for Switch or something.

I remember when this came out, I played it for 18 hours straight. I’m surprised our Wii didn’t explode. I was a sucker for the Wizard and Harvest King lol

An animal parade video in 2024??? I LOVE TO SEE IT!! My favorite characters are Luke and Candace <3 Luke is my mayo loving husband while I just wanna protect sweet Candace and be her bestie. This video is definitely gonna make me wanna play again LOL

Not being able to have all the animals with the designs being as good as they are was a crime. I've settled on cows, sheep, and goats for my current playthrough, but I love the horses. Toby's my go-to, he's a good egg.

I love this game so much! There are so many cut scenes and relationship details. I love Owen and the harvest king. I have played this game regularly since 2009, usually to help me through the winter blues.

I had such a soft spot for Calvin, he reminded me a lot of Griffin who I was very bitter didn't return as a bachelor in the AWL remake lol. Here's hoping Animal Parade will get a remake next!

my favorite character is probably the harvest king! it's so refreshing to finally have the harvest king finally make a physical appearance in a HM game! he's also such a fun bachelor, not my favorite mind you, but he has some sweet dialogue and cute interactions with his kids. also....have you seen him? 😍😍 he's so handsome!

When I played as a kid, I remember I really loved the Wizard, Toby, and Owen! This game definitely needs a remaster!

Selena and the Harvest King and the Goddess and Toby had me in a chokehold as a child.... and as a adult honestly. I think the art style and designs are just so charming for everyone!

I love this game so much! Being able to have rival heart events and them actually having children and aging up (and not just babies) made it feel so alive.
