Updated my garden corner pipes with DIY tile mosaic art 🥰 I was wanting to make this for so long but mason bhaiya wasn’t ready to teach me. Then Kya, saw so many YouTube videos and learnt myself and here I am with my version of the garden corner art. These pipes would look good in balcony garden or terrace garden too. So go ahead and make your own colourful garden corner with mosaic tile art.

Ok now the materials used and the process followed:

Materials used:
🌸these are cast iron pipes but the same can be made with PVC pipes as well

🌸glue - Polymer adhesive

🌸grout powder - Dura plast polymer based grout in white colour

🌸tile cutter

👉Steps to follow:

1. Break the tiles (these are thin tiles) into random sizes. If you wish to make any design like how I made flowers and butterflies, you can easily shape the tiles using tile cutter.

2. Optional step - if you want the flower petals to have smooth edges, rub them over sand paper. I did for one of the pipes design only.

3. Use polymer based adhesive to stick the tiles as per your design pattern. I made three different patterns, if you like you can make my design too.

4. Leave the glue to dry completely for 1-2 hours then fill the gaps with grout mix.

5. Grout is mixed with water in the ratio 3:1 but make your own judgement. I used water as and when needed and made the grout little flowy to easily fill the gaps. Grout sets really fast so mix in less quantity at a time.

6. Very imp step; let the grout dry for an hour and then rub the tiles with cotton cloth to remove the grout layer on it. The grout should be only in the gaps and not on the tiles. Make sure to clean the tiles before the grout completely dries.

7. Lastly, I arranged the pipes in the garden corner. And these pipes have an initial coating of zinc based primer so they are not going to corrode that easily.
