Easy Peasy 3 Yard Quilt Tutorial Using The Tic Tac Pattern - Panel Friendly
Показать описание
I know I am obsessed with these 3 yard quilt patterns. I had a request to do a tutorial on the Tic Tac 3 yard quilt design from Donna Robertson's Easy Peasy 3 Yard Quilt Book. At first I couldn't find it in a book, until I purchased it. LOL. Then I turned right to it. Regardless, I have made this quilt 3 times so far and I love it! I couldn't believe how quickly this quilt goes together. I made one in an evening. It is a great way to showcase fabric that has larger images and you can use directional fabric with minimal changes to the directions. Even better you can use fabric panels with pictures within the panel. I suggest you use any fabric panel pieces or directional fabrics as fabric 2 and I go over in the tutorial what you need to do. This tutorial goes over the cutting, sewing and arranging this cute 3 yard quilt.
As I've said, I made 3 of these. I only show 2 in the tutorial because I left one of them at the Sewing and Vacuum Authority while I was trying to find a border fabric. LOL. But don't worry - it is safe there. One of the quilts features using panel pieces and the other uses non directionally patterned fabric.
