In this video we cover the very first 3 episodes of Star Wars Andor Season 1 and honestly at first we werent impressed or like it that much. We go into details here why that is so. Eventually when we finished the entirety of Season 1 it grew on us quite a bit and became the best live action Star Wars show put out so far!

This video was recorded with Razer Seiren X microphone, edited and created in the VideoPad video editor in Serbia 2022.

MUSIC USED:
- Knights Of The Old Republic - Javyar's Cantina

Remember guys: God is awesome all the time , may the force be with you always and we will see you in another video you REBEL SCUM!!! ;)

Buy a saber and help us continue making lore videos and thus support our Expanded Universe Reborn project which will bring countless EU stories to an animated short film format as an anthology series! Thank you once again!

I actually really enjoy the more serious, gritty and mature atmosphere of the Andor show. I think it's a different side of star wars and a good change of pace.

It’s like reading a novel, as opposed to a comic book.

Talking about "woke" culture and then getting all upset that they said "shit" in Star Wars is about as hypocritical as you can get. I mean, sure, it's not about gender or racial wokeness, but let's face it, woke isn't just about gender and race issues, and how much more "woke" can you get than getting upset about profanity?

I 100% disagree about boring. It’s giving us time to take in what’s actually happening.

The dude straight up kills someone accidentally and murders the other.

The security officer isn’t even a bad guy. He’s doing the right thing.

Andor, is a murderer. The security officers are doing their job.

This dynamic hasn’t been done in Star Wars. We haven’t had a situation where the protagonist isn’t the good guy doing the objectively right thing. Even in rogue one, he was going to blow up the Death Star. Here, he’s trying to survive.

It’s been 1hr and 30 minutes total. It’s the longest series they’ve made.

I’ll take this over all the other garbage they’ve made. The writing is excellent, the “villain” is nuanced and acts human, there’s actual mystery in the show etc.

Andor definitely has promise. I haven't seen anything bad about it, so I am hopeful it will continue to get better.

I agree. To some it may not be a big deal however, swearing and cursing in star wars opens a door that doesn't need to be opened. We have seen time and time again that once you give Hollywood an inch, they will ALWAYS take a mile.

Calling it boring is what man children would say, who've been on tiktok for too long. It's a slow burn cyberpunk noir thriller. It's excellent.

Thanks guys, I thought I was the only one that was finding Andor boring.

I know a lot of people keep saying it's a slow build or more gritty etc. I'm all for that. But it's just so boring. Slow build doesn't have to be boring. It doesn't help that nobody in the show is especially likeable or even interesting.

I think it seems boring because we've gotten so used to shows constantly having things happen with zero meaning or weight to them. This show isn't "waiting for things to happen" it's just making the things that do happen, matter

I disagree, I'm 43 and an og star wars fan, saw rotj in the theater so I've been around along time and am not one of these just casual watchers, I also have read many of the legends novels as well as the comics. I personally haven't loved much that has been considered canon since Disney got involved and have been very disappointed with everything they've done besides Mando and don't even get me started on the sequel trilogy. However I did love rogue one and for that matter the andor series, I did need to watch it a few times but now I'm hooked and can't wait til episode 4. Yes it is very different and can understand how my fellow og star wars heads may not enjoy andor but I'm personally enjoying it and this is coming from someone hugely disappointed with bobf and Kenobi. This andor series does give me hope for the future once again. I suggest everyone give another chance ...

Thank God for an honest legitimate critical analysis of these first three episodes. Everyone else is drooling all over themselves at how this THE BESTEST STAR WARS E V E R! So far objectively bad...

Never watched any Disney Star Wars because I assume it's gonna be bad. So I'll just tell every single true Star Wars fan to do the same: don't watch Star Wars Disney.

Wasted potential seems to be the theme of Disney nowadays, whether it applies to Star Wars, Marvel, or even Disney's own original IPs.

I liked those 3 Andor episodes more than Mandalorian season 1 and 2, this Andor series reminds me of George Lucas SW, absolutely incredible series and has the potential to be even better

The intro and outro of your vids are so cool! Kotor cantina music and a quote from early season clone wars!
