Tow Bar Install - Volvo XC60 2017 onwards - Step by Step

TowBar Installation on a Volvo XC60 2017 onwards. This install should be similar on most of the Volvo range? This is a step by step video and should show all you need to know to install a tow bar, and although this is a flange type the detachable version is the basic same process.

There is a better hitch manufactured by a company called stealth hitches.

Their hitch allows reinstallation of the stock bumper reinforcement bar in addition to the hitch which gives extra security and preserves your warranty.

Anti-seize on the original inner bumper bolts reduces friction on the bolts.

So they will come undone and tightening them to the required torque is a bit pointless.

Appling anti-seize afterwards is not a problem. I usually let things as they are and let them age the way "God intended".

And what's up with you Brits not buying the dedicated wiring harness? This is just waiting for problems.

Us Dutch are known for being cheap but we do buy and use the dedicated wiring harness.
