I am hard of hearing and would appreciate it very much if you could turn on your closed captions for your videos. I never turn mine off. Even a live show has the ability to have closed captions. I don't personally know how it is done, but do know it has to be done at your end. There are so many people in the world that can't understand what you are saying, please help us by finding out how to add it to your videos. By the way I do love watching the Shannon channel, it has giving me so much information but could be so much more. Thank you for giving this a consideration.

Thank you so much for explaining the difference! I didn’t realize Minky was not always Cuddle. I backed a quilt with a big box Minky and you could see holes where the quilting needle went through. It was not nearly as dense as Luxe Cuddle. Shannon fabrics from my LQS only from now on!!

Hi Teresa! I have a question that relates to a video you did on September 29, 2020 “Basic Binding Techniques for Cuddle Minky Plush Fabric” (as I just discovered your channel and I have finally found someone (you!) who I, personally, learn best from. So (yaaay!) thank you for that!). Anyway, you showed how to use minky as a blanket binding, and you cut your strips at 1 3/4”. However, I like to make my binding a little bigger, roughly the size, or slightly smaller, of the standard satin blanket binding you buy. (I like to give a little more area of soft, cozy trim to give a little one more softness to snuggle up to their sweet little cheeks ☺). So, my question is: because the measurements are very particular, what size would I cut the strips, and what would the remaining measurements be in order to make the binding a little bigger? I don’t know if you’ll see my comment, since this video was filmed five hours ago, but I’m hoping…. Carrine (PS: So now I know why I get material fuzz stuck in my cutting mat, so that you for that! Oh, and the “cowboy hat” tip too! 👏)
