Steps:
Method #1: From group conversation
Step 1
In Whatsapp, open the group conversation you want to leave.

Step 2
Click the group name to see the information page.

Step 3
Scroll down at the bottom of the page.

Step 4
Tap the “Exit group” button.

Step 5
It will show a confirmation message, just tap “Exit”.

Once done, it will notify the group that you have left the group. You will also not be able to see and reply to the messages in the group.

Method #2: Using the group name
Step 1
In Whatsapp, long press on the name of the group you want to leave.

Step 2
Tap the three dots on the upper right part of your screen.

Step 3
Tap the “Exit group” button.

Step 4
Once the confirmation message pops up, tap “Exit” once again.

Now, when you click on the group conversation, you can no longer see and reply to the new messages.

Method #3: Remove other members
Step 1
In Whatsapp, open the group conversation you want to leave.

Step 2
Click the group name to see the information page.

Step 3
Scroll down to see the names of the members included in the group conversation.

Step 4
Touch and hold the name of a member of the group.

Step 5
Tap “Remove (name)”.

This will remove the member from the group.

Step 5
When the confirmation message pops up, click on “Ok”.

Repeat steps 4 & 5 until you have removed the members you want from the group.

Step 6
To also leave the group conversation, click on the “Exit group” button.

Step 7
Confirm by clicking “Exit” again.

Delete the group conversation by clicking “Delete group”.
