I have been following you for several months and I want to say that you have given me tons of tips. I am currently in Crete for 5 days, heading to Santorini, Mykonos and Athens and I wouldn’t be able to plan all of this without you and your wonderful videos. Thank you.

Nice video
an extra tip about the port of Pireus. This port is huge with many Gates, so check your ticket about your ship's "Gate" before going there. The distance between Gates is big and if you have baggages with you it will be harsh to walk a long distance. Also there is a small bus inside the port that take you for free from Gate to Gate.

I just finished a 10 day vacation in Greece using a bunch of your guides and it was the best vacation I've ever had. Thank you so much! ❤

Thank you for everything you're doing on this channel. Your videos have been the most informative I've found- no one else even comes close!!! We were hoping to book your own tour in September, but it looks like you're taking a couple of months off. Our loss, but we truly appreciate all of your videos!

I've tried the ferry service to travel to a couple of the islands, and I've got to say, it's everybody for themselves if you are on the economy class tickets. Grab whatever seats available before they're taken!😅😅

The ferries are a great way to get around between islands, but we had a great experience flying from athens to milos. The ferry was behind schedule, so all sense of politeness was out of the window. They were shouting lets go and hurry up at us, and the ship started moving before the last crew member got on board.

Good explanation, thank you. Going in March 5th and based on the prices, round tripflight ticket costs only 120$can vs. Ferry 50€X2. I think I'll take the flight 😆.

Really nice video! Just a tiny comment, the only day when there is a certain strike is the 1st May - the other days are public holidays but this doesn't affect ferries, in fact sometimes more ferries are added around Easter. Safe travels!

In the start where you show fast and slow ferries minoan lines are fast as their ships have max speed of 31 knots and also golden star ones are the slow plus saronic which are slow one too

If you are on time poor look at sky express airplane tickets. They are both cheaper than the slow boat to Crete and Santorini saving me 8 hours and some change. This was for summer 2023

As an experienced (+30 years) island hopper I NEVER book ferry tickets on line. Be it through company websites or through a broker like Ferryhopper. I always buy them in a local ticket office as I go along. Much easier to deal with those local people than with the company or a broker if there is a cancellation due to bad weather or a strike. But having said that I never travel in July and August.
Btw: don't travel without booking on the major routes from Piraeus in the days leading up to Easter Sunday and to Piraeus on the same routes the days after Easter Sunday.
