The way I've seen the Zelda series is that, since not all of the games are in the same timeline, they are all different interpretations of a tale about a princess, her hero, and the evil that seeks to rule her kingdom.

I find it odd how nearly forty years into the series' life, there isn't a game about Link and Zelda teaming up to defend Hyrule from Ganon.

Technically they have done in games already, but I don't know if that's been a premise for a game idea.

I do love that Ganondorf is causing different types of cataclysms in the four main regions since he doesn’t know Zelda and can’t base his Phantom off of her. I do wonder if the others will be changed as honestly the one in Death Mountain is probably the only one that NEEDS Zelda for the game version to happen

I do also wonder if something weird will happen in Kakariko Village that he did to stop them from reading about Mineru
