Sometimes less is truly more!! I have been loving J. Crew’s vintage advertising. I used to work for J. Crew and I learned so much about classic style and how sometimes the most simple pieces can make such a bold statement. Fast fashion tells you that you constantly need to be loud and in-your-face to make a statement and that’s simply not true! Love this video and love seeing other people appreciate the ads too! 🥹

I loved this video so much! I collect vintage fashion catalogues (mainly from the 90s & early 2000s) so it was so much fun to see the vintage J Crew ads and have you analyze them in-depth. I would love to see you create outfits from them too! ahhh this is great! I recently thrifted a beautiful 80s bright red cotton work coat! It’s one of my favorite clothing items now and I haven’t been able to even wear it yet 😅 it’s so simple and primary it looks like a cartoon character costume, like jane in daria. anyway, great vid and this is perfect styling advice for when it finally gets cold!!
