HP Pavilion X360 14-ba048sa won't charge or turn on

Update: I was never able to fix this laptop which was a shame. I replaced the charger and the charging port on the motherboard but nothing worked. Can only assume that something blew on the motherboard.

There is a mofset power switcher that goes bad on the motherboard. It switches between battery and ac²dc power input.

it's the power button
disconnect the power button circuit and try to turn on the laptop with shorting the first and second pin (not for all laptop am not sure) or when you disconnect the pwr button circuit; reconnect it and disconnet it again quickly.

I have same issue, even after replacing the battery it won't turn on....any suggestions ?

Mine is the same, I replaced the charging port, charger, and the charging port cable to the motherboard and still nothing.

I have the exact same issue it won't turn on or anything and all I did was take the ram out and put it back in at least before there was a blank screen and a blinking caps lock key but now there's nothing I'm crying so much

This has nothing to do with the battery, HP technicians suggesting to replace that have no idea what they are talking about or how their own computers work. These function fine without a battery. This has to do either with the motherboard or processor failing, at least in my case.

It doesn't work for me, I had the same error and I just had to unplug it and plug it back in so it would charge. Saved me loads of £££, and definitely 2-3 hours

has anybody found the Cmos battery? i know by others computers ( desktop) by removing for a few secs the CMOS battery might solve the problem but on my ho pavilion laptop i cant find it.

Same issue. It won't open until i charge it. However, I can't open it whenever i try to sign it it says "this sign in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns. Use a different sign-in option, or keep your device open for atleast 2hours and then try again." Hoping someone can help me because i need it asap to pass my school project within this day😢

I am using hp 14s f1000 laptop .
But now when my charge is 99% it is glowing white colour and charge stops .
Anybody give any solution?
