this is such a beautiful song... I don't really celebrate Christmas (I am a Muslim), but Coldplay managed to connect to the hearts of every one, including me... although when I was little, I had learned alot of Christmas jingles in Pakistan and now in America I hear them all the time.. I see so many different christmas lights here and it is really beautiful... oh and one more thing, when I was in Pakistan a couple of months ago, there are alot of radio channels that play western Music.. and trust me there was not a single day where these radio station haven't played a coldplay song, infact I had listened to multiple coldplay songs in multiple channels in one go, in a single day.. and as far as I know, Pakistani radio stations have alot of request shows so people always requested coldplay songs.. (FYI Pakistans second language is English so alot of people do understand English but some don't).. also once there was a coldplay song playing on the radio, and there was my car driver next to me and he always had a hate for english songs because he doesn't understand a english single word, but once coldplay came on the radio I remember, he loved the song so much that he was crazy about it and then coldplay became his favorite, even though he didn't understand it, he just became fond of their songs... I am telling you all this is because this band here knows how to connect with the world, can connect those with who don't understand, who don't speak their language, who are from a different culture... that is not just music that is art.. connecting with people you don't know or don't know your language is probably the hardest thing ever known to mankind, and few people are able to do it.. coldplay are one of those few people... infact I couldn't think of any other person or group who have achieved that in the current time...People from England should be proud that this band is from your country... LOVE COLDPLAY!!
