It never ceases to amaze me how many people do not exercise a birth control method on a regular basis. So many children are born to parents who have absolutely no long term relationship with each other, which isn’t a good place to bring children into the picture. There are too many forms of birth control in this day and age to be having children randomly.

Judge Webster is great and I think mom is extremely reasonable. She seems to truly care about what's best for her daughter.

You would be surprised by how many mothers really do tell the fathers that if he will go away and have nothing to do with the child, they will not seek child support.
The law usually does not go along with that, however, especially when Mom put the child on government assistance like Medicaid. Visitation and access to the child is mandated unless there is a serious issue with the father. This child hopefully will benefit from having both her parents in her life.

Judge Webster always tries to be fair with both parents. Mom is being very reasonable and dad wants to step up and be part of the childs life. Hopefully it will remain that way.

Judge Webster is awesome. He sniped the potential arguing, both parents got down to reality. It sounds like the child will have birth parents who care, half siblings unknown in the future to meet. This is a healthy resolution and both need to remain child centred in their parenting. 💙

People seem to forget that sex, has ramifications. There is always a chance for pregnancy, especially if women have to rely on hormones to prevent it. Men need to use condoms religiously and/or get a vasectomy. It’s easier and less invasive and for the most part can be reversed. They have sex in uncommitted relationships and then get angry when there is a pregnancy. As soon as a women says she is pregnant and you don’t plan on sticking around, establish paternity as soon as child is born, don’t run from it. You can even have a store bought dna test completed before official testing if that comes back positive. Then you can avoid retroactive child support. If you don’t want any more kids either the woman should place long term birth control or the man should make sure pregnancy can’t occur via vasectomy.
