Показать описание
4th Day of the Rabobank Hockey World Cup, and we see Germany taking on Argentina, in the Men's Pool B game.
1st Half, and Argentina had the first real chance when Juan Martin Lopez short from way outside the D hoping for an attacker to touch the ball in, but it went wide. Germany managed to create some chances for themselves and nearly score when Christopher Ruhr playedthe ball into the path of Mats Grambusch, but he could not convert the shot into the back for the net. However the deadlock was broken when some great skill by Joaquin Menini was then passed to Manuel Brenet, and from a tight angle, managed to hit the ball into the net, and put Argentina up 1-0 before the break.
2nd Half, and Argentina had the first real chance when Brunet unleashed a shot that was kicked away by Nicholas Jacobi. Germany then had a shot when Benjamin Wess went for a slapshot but Juan Vivaldi palmed the shot away. Argentina were awarded a penalty corner that could find its way in the back of the net, and although Germany created some chances near the end they were not able to grab that crucial equalising goal, celebrations for Argentina winning, 1-0.
