My mother was watching this World Cup with great pleasure and was for Germany since the beginning till the end, and now I rewatch this World Cup in the YouTube for a 100 times-this German National Team was Legendary;Outstanding and Tremendous, and, of course-R.I.P, Kaiser Franz-we’ll never forget you !!!

I've never seen any review of this match that includes fouls made against Maradona inside germans penalty area. If I am not mistaken they dropped Maradona 2 or 3 times inside penalty area, by the end of the match, they were clear penalties, but referre didn't react at all. Where is that episode, why nobody shows it ?

To this day, my father, a huge fan of Maradona, can’t get over this match and the despair it caused him. From these highlights, it seems to me that Germany outplayed Argentina most of the game, but that penalty is questionable to say the least.

Argentina were outplayed by Yugoslavia in the Quarter-final despite having an extra man for almost 90 mins. A true football travesty, if there ever was one.

This Argentina wasn't the strongest however they had the best defense of the tournament. Argentina didn't lose against Brazil, Yugoslavia and Italia. They made it to the final game whether we liked it or not. I am not Argentinian but I remember very well this WC. Germany was not able to break Argentina's defense the whole game. If the ref wouldn't have given away that penalty, Argentina would've won this WC in the penalty kicks 100%. Goycochea was a monster goalie who had built such a big momentum from the 2 previous games.

Germany was by far the better side and could had won it by 3-0 but this doesn't change the fact that Argentina was robbed by the referee in the second half
