Demystifying 5G – How are slot formats defined in 5G NR?

Показать описание
Slot formats are a fundamentally new concept in 5G NR. They help to realize different downlink and uplink allocations, particularly in time division duplex (TDD) mode. Based on an example with 120 kHz subcarrier spacing, the video explains some unique characteristics compared to TD-LTE, such as the mismatch between required periodicity and subframe duration.
The demystifying 5G video series discusses main topics related to 5G including new technology components, procedures and testing challenges.

Hate that I got this as an ad

I mean it’s a good explanation but still

Thanks for the video uploaded. i have one question
in LTE we have 7 Frame configurations of UL-DL slots in TDD. In 5G, how many frame configurations do we have?
There are 56 different slots configuration which is defined, but that is applicable for FLEXIBLE slots in the 5G-FRAME, what about the other slots in a frame. How are they defined?
For ex. with SCS as 15khz, we have 10 slots of 1ms each in Frame of 10ms. How are these defined? Is there any specific Frame configuration as we had in LTE?
