On May 31th and June 1st Norway hosts a meeting of NATO foreign ministers as part of preparations for a summit due in Vilnius in July.

The doors of NATO are open now for Ukraine but they cannot join boon because of the war that NATO assisted and allowed Russia to start.and drag on. If “Russia believed it would end in 3 days.” and everyone watched and did nothing to help in those three days, nor anything preventative. What were they doing all those years prior?
“We never saw it coming”, is simply an excuse for negligence and quite possibly to cover up corruption.

Stoltenberg has a severe chronic disease called ankylosing spondylitis. I used to have a neighbour with this disease and it's no joke to suffer from it. Your joints basically disappear, your bones grow together and you turn into a wooden board. Very painful, and it comes along with other health problems, too. Kudos to him for working with this disease.

Re Ukraine, I have to assume that any intelligent person understands US support has nothing to do with freedom and Ukraine defense. It has everything to do with the situations in Taiwan and China. Xi Jinping is watching Ukraine like a hawk. The US foolishly let Taiwan own over 80% of the world's microchip manufacture, through letting this tech migrate to Taiwan in the interest of profit. Microchip production rules the planet, from iphones to military weapons. If Xi detects weakness in the support of Ukraine, it logically becomes an assessment of the situation re resolve in the tensions between the US/west and the PRC. Ukraine is a throwaway. No conflict in the history of the human race has ever been fought over freedom. We only fight for defense, power, or acquiring land and wealth. (And once one strips away the chimera of religion in a conflict, this still applies). Only now because of nuclear weapons, the survival of our species is on the table. The human race has grown older, but no wiser.
