20 years ago this would have been a hit on MTV

I’ve done six or so Ai music Videos at this point. It’s called “Neural Net Theater” on here. One thing I’ll say is it’s definitely all about the music. A good song can make an okay video better. Another is that you can do wild things if you really take advantage of editing tricks to get the clips synced to the beat. And lastly, you can tell Ai to “sing” by giving a prompt about chanting or singing and using a high cfg in Luma or Kling. Then you get your main character with some mouth movements that you can sync up to the beat. Add a few “dancing” prompts, and your part way to a real music video.

One thing I will say about your song: it actually has real lyrics, not just a single verse followed by a repeated chorus - or just a chorus and nothing else.

Love it bro. It definitely took that human touch, but you did the robots proud!

Great Job Matt! I applied to LTX months ago. Checking my inbox, they accepted me, yay! Looking forward to sharing a music video with you. It will take a while but what an incredible new frontier has opened! Thanks, Daniel Hicks

Very creative! I've been looking into using LTX recently (i.e. I'm finally going to succumb to the constant advertisements for it in my YouTube streams) and this video is helpful to give me an idea of what to expect. Thank you.

Matt, you did a really good job on this.

2:34 It has a bit of Radiohead in it, even a hint of Linkin Park, but to me, I would say it's mostly similar to Smashing Pumpkins' albums, both vocally and musically.

Sounds very Porcupine Tree to me. I do like it but the song could do with a bit of structure. Great work Matt.

OMFG Matt that was the most comprehensive full length AI song that I have ever heard it stayed on point all the way, a few missed opportunities to make slightly better rhymes but all in all this a BASED song

I love doing this stuff. It's incredible almost all mine so far have been edited at night on my phone. It's amazing what we can do now. 🤠 As always, great video Matt! Also this song is excellent! I've been wanting to do one in a style like this because I go really super pop/glitch-pop kinda feel mixed with industrial and atmospheric electronica etc. I really like this style.

I see questions like keys in the infinite space pf the mind. Ask all the questions, get more questions, and the answers also just become more questions. Endless horizons 🤠

Admittedly, I'm not a fan of the musical style, nor the metric of the song, nor the slow movements, although they are probably intended to add to the content and mood. In this video, I noticed exactly what I experienced in my own experiments with video creation using AI. The AI doesn't know what to do with the arms and hands. Image generators sometimes hide the arms and image to video leave them there too or, if they are visible, like here, they leave them in place too. A good example is the bot on the sofa. How much it would enhance the content if he lay with his arms behind him on the sofa... Anyway, thanks for your insights - I really enjoy watching your videos - including this one (don't misunderstand)! Keep up your amazing work!

I haven't watched the video yet, but have seen enough from other videos to say LTX rocks!
Matt, one thing I think is needed on the music side is for them do an output of all the tracks (composition layers) and clips within them with exports for particular DAWs.
In other words, if I exported to FLStudio, then I would get an FLstudio project and associated assets.
All the pieces. It would even contain things like the main sequence, channel rack drum loops, piano roll layouts you can edit and a VST intrument associated with that piano roll composition.
That way I could go in and change the parts that needed to be.
Could be an export for every major DAW.
BAM! - AI idea of the day (I have them sometimes)

-- also, if they could allow 3d models of the characters to be uploaded, it might be able to render that itself before it continues the rest of the generation. Not sure if it would work the way the diffusion models are setup, but if they had an input into the latent generator, then it would capture all the latent of those rendered characters (rendered to a specific pose for that frame) after the generation of the characters, and the diffusion would have that highly detailed latent information.

For me, I need something like this that allows you to lip sync well

Wtf, that sounds so much like Steven Wilson, specially when it says "I feel you all around". It's crazy. Sounds like something Porcupine Tree might do, except more simplified. Wouldn't be surprised they trained the AI on his music.

in the future we might see a whole concert sung by robots or whatever AI, how good this music is shows it 🤯🤯 it has gotten better, and every single time it is advancing and getting better

Before this was only possible to do for people who either had tons of money to buy a production-company to create their vision, or people who knew how to do this themselves and had the means and possibilities. The fact that people who have a vision, but not the money, connections or training, can now also get to express themselves creatively (Rather than just looking at other people have fun) is why AI must NOT be made illegal by the powers-that-be (As we see them try to do via law-suits and legislation to restrict access etc)

Rock on, Matthew!! :) (And great taste in music too ;) )
