I review Blondie's Against The Odds 1974 - 1982 Boxset consisting of 3-CD's and 52 Tracks with beautiful packaging.

I love how all of your reviews mix knowledge, insight, humor, passion and personal anecdotes to perfectly encapsulate the essence of an album, CD or boxed set. Thanks for presenting the very impressive-looking new set by what I consider to be New York’s best contribution to cutting edge music. Toward the end of the ‘70s, Blondie really turned rock music on its ear. And Debbie Harry came on the scene as a uniquely charismatic lead singer. I remember the buttons that proclaimed: Blondie is a band. Turning the boxed set booklet into a book is a great idea. The band should have had you on its marketing team.

I Love Blondie, I will always love Blondie. Debbie Harry is the total package to front that band. She has all the intangibles, look and voice to be probably the best female rock singer of the modern era. I have several Blondie CD's and some of the repackaged ones as well so I don't think I will get Against All Odds any time soon but your review was well executed. Love the Passion!
Fun Fact: Did you know that Debbie Harry's second solo album Rockbird was produced and co-written by Seth Justman the keyboard player of the J.Geils Band?

That's the set I bought ..I have no need for the albums I have on vinyl and CD ...I love this box set .so interesting to hear this stuff ..but I doubt Ill play it regularly ..i.just play the albums ...but I'm glad I got it.have to say though I don't like the last CD much .I could do without the Chris stein instrumental mixs ..but I adore hearing early versions .

great band. i have those remastered CDs too got them in 2000s I guess whenever they came out. good to know most of stuff on the new box set are same bonus tracks on the CDs I have. book looks cool though.
