Dyche will keep Everton up but that can’t be the ambition every season. Should aiming for top half finishes. His style is out of date and awful for fans to watch. Let the opponent have the ball and hope to score from a set peice or long diagonal punts forward

I dont blame DCL for wanting to go. What CF would want to play for Dyche in this team? We play Burnley football without the Burnley commitment to game plan. At least Burnley played 2 up front and got crosses into box from wings. DCL is getting pumped the ball from deep and noone is getting forward to support him. It's awful.

Everton stayed up last season due to the emergence of Branthwaite as a top CB. They need him back in the team asap if they're to do the same again.

Why are so many people convinced Everton will stay up? They are piss poor, I hate watching them, I hate Dyche's tactics. School yard recess tactics being used in the premier league, just an absolute joke. Mentally weak players as well. I already thought they were garbage but that loss to bournemouth was absolutely the most shameful thing I have ever witnessed. Southampton and Ipswich are obvious candidates to go down, outside of that I feel that Everton and Leicester will be battling it out. What other teams on the table is Everton going to out perform? Wolves and Palace have underperformed so far but I've watched just about every single game this season and in the long run I think they are much more solid than Everton.

No chance that Everton will go down, but Dyche won't be at Everton long term either. He is incredibly limited and will probably have a similar career to Allardyce from now on.

Soon as the new ownership comes into Everton, I'd imagine they'll follow Newcastle, Villa and West Ham further up the table and into potential European positions. But similar to those 3, they will have next to no chance of winning a league title due to the way football is right now. Maybe a domestic or lesser European if they're lucky. But football is designed to keep the elites at the top and everyone else out. Which is why it's so poor to watch these days; especially with constant rule changing to sterilise the game. There's no level playing field, it's predictable, plenty of questionable refereeing, and in my opinion everyone else is just taking part. Sad really.

The football is really unimaginative. The defence has improved now and will get better, but there is so little creativity in the midfield, and long ball has nothing for DCL. Stick with this style, then you need Beto 4-4-2 for the boom long ball.

Sean Dyche stayed with us in the worst moments possible, we should back him up and allow him to get reinforcements in the January transfer window, we owe him this much. We are still building an amazing stadium, we have proper new ownership, and I think it would be an unbelievable level of ingratitude to sack Dyche at this moment, especially when we don't have a top level manager knocking at the door for an opportunity at the club.
