Maybe it would be worthwhile to do a video about how Islam's heavy emphasis on legalism and ritual propriety can lead to feelings of burnout and despair, and can make aspects of the religion either very impractical or even completely impracticable in the present day.

Why are Muslims terrified of leaving their faith? I ask because a taxi driver told me he left his home country because he had problems with how he was treated when he questioned a rule in his religion. He now has no faith.

I feel the same way tbh
I used to care so much about proving people wrong about Islam and getting all worked up about debates
Now I realize that if a person wants to leave or test their religion, they'll do it of their own accord
Debates, if anything, make people more stubborn
This is why I like you more than the other exmuslim faces out there
That you're not caught up in all this "disputing Islam" stuff and focus more on making people's voices heard

you should talk to someone with knowledge about islam and other religions about the contradictions and how religions dont let us think critically. i would suggest talking to The Muslim Lantern. could be a very interesting conversation

But, the thing that worked for me the most is to explore the religios mythos, its philosophycal and cultural (culture, the only thing in theoloy which i cannot abandon. As it gives onself familial and other comfort) aspects of it...
