If you had it set to use your Paypal account you should go into settings, payments and look for the subscriptions and automatic payments if all you did was remove the credit cards that were associated with your paypal account they will continue to charge your Paypal account and use the next thing inline whether that be your paypal balance, or your checking account, etc
