As someone that deals in a casino and has been for 4+ years I can tell anyone on here that this does not happen. Reserve games happen and same in high limit if a player is gone for an extended period of time that was not expected by staff we can have security lock up the chips and they will sit and wait in the vault for the person to get them with their ID. Has happened before and it’ll happen again.
