Thin hair dude here, first tried Cloud Control and still using it more as a "mask", appling a good amount of product like twice a week to "restore" my hair because, as a styler, didn't satisfied me that much. Now I'm defenetly looking forward to try this volume cream. Good job Joe, anxious to see what's next for your product line (maybe a shampoo?)

After using Ascend for a couple of days the way Joe had explained, I unfortunately would say I'm not a fan. To give you an idea of what my hair is like, my hair has always been thick but over the past year it has thinned out a little bit and I would consider my top to be a medium length. I used cloud control with ascend as a prestyler and then used a blow dryer to dry and lock it into place the way Joe does in his most recent technique video. My hair looked very weighed down and there was honestly very little volume. Keep in mind I'm only using one squirt of the product and yes I am heating it up as I run it through my hands. It could be that my hair type is just not meant for Ascend but I get a better result with Original and cloud control together. Not bashing blumaan at all but figured I would warn some others of the issues I faced when using it.

It is the best pre-styler i have ever tried and just a tad better then original... and I have tried all the bluemaan line as pre-stylers unbelievable product unbelievable and it’s good for your hair without any tugging going in wet as did all the other products... original was the best I had every used truly inane... but this... this is a new level

Hey Joe, I was wondering what your thoughts are on using Ascend with products from other brands. I naturally have very fine and straight hair, and I will be purchasing Ascend. But I also have some Pete & Pedro Clay and Sea Salt Spray stocked up at home, and I was wondering how I should use Ascend with those products, or if I should use them together at all.
