Here's a little funny fact:

Next time you might wanna think twice about sleeping next to someone because it's said that since our own bodies contain potassium-40 (which is a gamma emitter) you're exposed to slightly MORE radiation from K-40's gamma rays when you sleep next to someone!

Heres another Joke,
Going on long flights increases your exposure to radiation (due to high energy cosmic rays). Equivalent to taking one or two x-rays (depending on the duration of flight and the route of flight). Flying across the equator is safer than flying closer to the poles, because the atmosphere is thinner at the poles compared to the equator.
