Zelensky To Flee Kyiv? U.S. 'To Evacuate Ukrainian President' As Russia Signals Capital Seize

The United States could evacuate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from Kyiv. Former Pentagon official Stephen Bryen said this in an article for the Asia Times. Bryen opined that the U.S. and NATO have only a few good options left currently. The possible evacuation talk comes as Russia has signalled that it could try to seize Kyiv again. The hint was dropped by the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev. He said, “Where to stop? I don’t know. Will it be Kyiv? Yes, probably it should be Kyiv."

Zelensky life is most probably more endangered by his own people, than by the Russians.
Russia never tried to take Kyiv.
The troops surrounding Kyiv at the start of the conflict were not meant to take Kyiv, but merely to force Ukraine to the negotiation table.
This effort was successful and Ukraine signed to a draft agreement to end the conflict. As a gesture of goodwill, the Russians pulled back their troops surrounding Kyiv (confirmed by Naftaly Bennett, former PM of Israel). The deal was however scrapped by Boris Johnson on behalf of the US.

Zelensky than declared that they forced the Russians to retreat from Kyiv, which was a complete fantasy.
The Russian troops have been positioned around Kyiv for weeks, they occupied a few villages and were, beside an occasional shelling, hardly engaged by the Ukrainians.
