It's not like Gief doesn't have jump in normals to vary his hit timing and mess with opponents anti airs. But you have to use them well. The other key point being dealing with all those whiffed normals from Oni. They have to be exploited to install the true matchup. It's just one online match out of many that went the other way around probably. Patience melt online after a while.

Why don't you organize some ft5 or ft10 ???
Now you will got some interesting fights to comment.
Of course probably I'm gonna get beat.
And it is more certain since the last update of usf4 ( zangief had been deeply nerfed) .
But everybody will be able to try to help the community to get better .
