I had a bunch of ideas but my endless love for this chaotic king won out in the end.

The only Hot Cop for me.

I'm currently stuck in a roofie circle of sorts with Arrested Development and I love Gob more and more every time. This came very close to being a Gob Bluth/Tony Wonder ship video as they are the only ship I had from the entire show and let me tell you, kids, I am obsessed with them.

Full disclosure, I suspected Gob was bisexual throughout the entire series, but on reflection of the later seasons having rewatched them quite a few times since season 5 aired, I think he may actually identify as gay. Even though the (unreliable) narrator dismisses his feelings and a lot of the fandom wasn't on board, it's really obvious that Gob has been with both men and women for years, has engaged in performative hyper-masculinity to please his father, claimed to have had sex with women that he actually hasn't, has felt no emotional connection to women, has sex with and professes to be in love with Tony Wonder, and then struggles to show any degree of attraction to women thereafter. (I FULLY maintain that the scene where he has a man-reaction to Mrs Veal's chest in that conversion scene is actually prompted by the cross on her chest - a cross which he identifies with Tony Wonder. ANYWAY.) I think it's easier for the show to dismiss all of this, and they kinda slapped the bisexual joke in from Buster in the finale but honestly, I think this dumb chaotic babe is gay and I just want him to be happy and married to Tony Wonder.

Anyway, if you haven't watched this show yet, I highly recommend it. Will Arnett is a superstar, and I also want to edit a v sad and serious video about Gob's anxiety and trauma (sitcoms are not supposed to make me cry this much right???)

Your editing is amazing and really shows Gob as a character! He's my favourite character of almost any show and AD is my Special Interest, love it!

wow in really late to this but I LOVE GOB. I LOVE AD. AND I LOVE THISS. please i hope it is still not to late to ask for that Gob trauma edit . this is one of the best i've seen so far.

your editing is great and i really liked this! <3 i'm actually planning on making a video talking about gob's sexuality throughout arrested development because i think it's the best part by far of the netflix revival and it's pretty overlooked by a lot of fans

I love love love it!
To be entirely honest I was so close to making a Gob edit to that song a thousand times haha. But I think you did a better job than I ever could! I especially love the masking effects (Gob sticking out from the bi flag background and so on). That must have taken quite some time.
Plus I agree with your interpretation of the show in the description too.

Anyway it's really a shame that there aren't that many edits about the show out there. And I'm saying that as a fellow Arrested Development editor who has even made and uploaded a Tony & Gob edit myself (it's not on yt due to copyright but on vimeo) haha
