Holiday Card Series 2016 - Day 11

Day 11 of the Holiday Card Series 2016. The series consists of 25 holiday card videos on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week until the second week of December.

On this day of the Holiday Card Series:

Do you remember the sparkly backgrounds from my last video? The ones that I started but never finished? In today's video I complete those cards. I couldn't let those gorgeous backgrounds go!

To make the backgrounds, I used two stencils: Echo Park's Winter Pines stencil and Hero Arts Crossing Waves stencil. I used three colors of Cosmic Shimmer Paste to create a sort of ombré color blending: Icicle Blue Sparkle, Ocean Spray, and Holly Green. After the background were dry, I mounted them on card bases made out of 110 lb. Neenah Solar White cardstock.

The greetings on the cards are from WPlus9. I used the Be Merry stamp set for one card, and Be Merry Sentiments stamp set for the other.

Love the card! Kristina, I bought some of that sparkle paste after seeing a previous card you made with the clear and silver pastes. I was not disappointed! The sparkle is amazing and I don't have to add glitter to my clear paste anymore! Thanks for using different products so we can decide whether we want to try them! Keep up the good work!
