Hide In-game Map | Push to Show/Hide | OBS & Streamlabs

Stream in OBS or Streamlabs? Want to know how to hide the Rust map on stream or any other in-game menu? Well, holding or toggling with keys, you can show and hide elements easily. This guide mainly focuses on hiding an in-game map while streaming and pressing that key. This will be very useful in preventing stream viewers from joining and ruining the experience for everyone.

why doesnt it work when i push the map key in game? it works 1 time or maybe even twice, but then doesnt work. It seems like it cant do the action because the in game keybind is the map.. it totally ignores the hotkey

I really needed cause when i stream I gotta pull up the bottom home thingy which has my profile picture on it so gotta hide it.

I dont like that you have to press H again to hide the image, why does OBS not have an option to push and release G to show and hide the image, like they have for the map in rust.

This is awesome but I was curious, do you have any tips for doing this with a dual pc streaming setup? I'm running my slobs on a separate machine, is there any way you can push commands to another slobs from my main pc?

the hide map overlay shows when im not ingame and press G, but when i open rust the overlay no longer shows up. it does show all my other overlays though, and yes rust is at the bottom of the list so all overlays should show even when its open. do you know what the issue could be?
