EPA Phase 1 of debris removal and clean up from California wildfires

The Environmental Protection Agency is handling Phase One of the debris removal and clean-up process from the California wildfires. The EPA is removing household hazardous waste from nearly 8,000 sites before the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or contractors hired by individual property owners can remove debris and foundations from destroyed homes.
