You definitely gotto have some emergency funds when buying a property. I learned the hard way lol. Soon as you move in problems that never existed start to appear lol. What helped me a lot was my home emergency insurance that I had with my bank. Another great video with great tips to consider.

Not saving for a house atm but it is great to know, when I change my mind! Saving for a house is exciting imo. However, I have been hearing companies are buying up houses which isn't great especially if your're a 1st time buyer.

If there's one thing I learned since I bought a house in May 2020 is have money saved. You will not have a chance to save anything for at least 1year. there's always something to repair/ maintain/ improve/ buy. Have extra money set aside in case something goes wrong on top of all these things.

Very informative!

Not something I will be doing because I think the earlier you do this age wise the better. But my advice would be for anyone looking to buy is ask why. Your WHY will tell you if it's something that should happen and keep you motivated. As an example, just because others do it is not a why, having something there for your family over the years is.

Your point of can you afford it is spot on. Great if you can afford a house but imagine if the council tax and amenities were so expensive you couldn't 🙈🙊🙊Price of house, bills, genetal upkeep first needs to be looked at and go from therex

I love your videos as you take a no nonsense approach and give realistic tips! This may sound stupid but would you say paying off student loans is important first? I hear mixed things about this. Also, I've never had a credit card and I'm worried about having one as I'm scared I'll spend! But then again apparently it's important for a credit score. (Thank you for the free guide!) 🙏x

Definitely agree on saving more than just house deposit and fees but at least 5% more

Affordability and not buying more house🏠 than you need is key as this can impact on the on-going maintenance costs for the rest of your life 😱😱😱
