Jamie Griffin is one of those skaters who _actually_ would deserve to become skater of the year. Not that bs with having people like Alexis nominated as finalist. Based on what? Lacey Baker part of the initial contenders? For what? And there are honestly dozens on there with video parts that didn't make half the impact on skating some Youtube or Instagram skaters had. There's a reason why people want to compare and know if Jamie Griffin is a better skater than Nyjah Houston. There's a whole truckload of tricks Jamie did that I just don't see Nyjah ever land. And yeah there's a difference between landing a trick consistently during a contest run or having landed a specific trick 'once'. I understand. But there's just no denying Jamie Griffin is amongst the best flat ground skaters out there.
