In this episode we present you the German alphabet! Cari and Erik show you all the letters and the correct pronunciation. We also talk about special letters such as the umlauts (Ä, Ö, Ü) and the eszett (ß), and the two important different pronunciation variants of "R" (vocalized and unvocolized). The topic is particularly useful for beginners, but even advanced learners can still learn a lot about the German alphabet here.

I’m schizophrenic which is a load of fun, but the onset happened when I was in college German, so when I finally got medicated and stabilized my brain revered to that period of my life which put the German alphabet as my main alphabet, but I’m an anglophone! There’s a weird little factoid for everyone I know the German alphabet better than my native one. I literally can’t sing it in English anymore without it feeling wrong. Brains are wild.

Danke schön! Eigentlich habe ich Probleme mit: 'R' Ausprache und daran immer zu denken, 'en' am Ende des Wortes abzukürzen. Aber das wird mit der Zeit kommen...
