I don’t understand all the trolls hating on reliability etc. We purchased our first GM product in 2016 coming from Mercedes Benz. Eventually we became a 100% GM household. We have had nothing but scheduled maintenance and one visit to install rear seat warmers due to the chip shortage in 2022. Any recalls have been taken care of when it’s time for a oil change. Our dealer sells Cadillac GMC Hummer and Buick. Every purchase has been heavily discounted from MSRP and we pretty much negotiate/haggle everything via text and email so the actual purchase is quick and easy. I think half the battle is to do your homework and find a reputable dealer.

If the Acadia has Terrain mode, will the new Terrain have Acadia mode?! 😋😆

Very good video on explaining the difference between the GMC Acadia models. My wife and I just bought the all new 2025 GMC Acadia AWD AT4 this week. We absolutely love this SUV!

I prefer the center screen in landscape mode as it draws the line of sight up higher so you don't have to look so far down while driving

GM seems to have hit the sweet spot of making a nice suv. I hope its reliable and itll be a solid buy.

I have the 2014 GMC Acadia AWD SLT with 3600 V6 it has 18" rims and loves the snow and ice, gravel roads, and highway. I have over 190, 000 miles and just replaced shocks and struts 2 years ago ❤

You forgot to mention the Twin-Cluth AWD system that is only available in the AT4. That is what allows you to go on that rugged terrain.

The new Acadia and the Traverse look very good. I'm so over these tablet-style dash screens though. Just integrate it into the damn dashboard. Having to clean behind that tablet is annoying, plus if it breaks you're at the mercy of the dealership for repair/replacement, which is a 4-figure proposition. No aftermarket option as is the case with a typical in-dash unit. The LCD rearview mirror is a blessing and a curse. The advantages are obvious, but it takes what would otherwise be a cheap mirror and replaces it with yet another electronic device that will cost a fortune to replace when it fails. Regardless of trim, it's a softroader designed for commuting to work on highways and carting the kids and crap around. That's its primary mission.

@The Fast Lane Car
you need to address the greed factor these auto companies are starting to embrace with their "pay-to-play" features. I have been a loyal GM customer for over 30 years. I, for one, will be looking for an alternative to GM next time because I am not interested in a monthly bill in order to use the features of the vehicle I already paid for. It may prove impossible to purchase a new auto without, in which case, I will be actively searching the used market for a suitable older vehicle and i will happily do whatever I need to maintain it. The thought of purchasing a $60, 000 auto and then having to pay a fee to use it's installed options is just one step too far in my book and I am certain there are many who agree with me. Not that the auto makers will

I gotta say that GM is making some nice looking trucks these days.

At least it didn't break down on the trail like the Tacoma.

@GM, For 50K, the AT4 needs memory seats. The previous generation offered them. I’m 6’5”, my wife is 5’8”. We take turns driving on road trips. No memory seats is a deal breaker for us. Hoping you add them in the 2025 model when we’re ready for a new Acadia.

I have purchased GM for the past 20 years, the AFM problem steered me away from Chevrolet Silverado, I have seen many problems reported about engines with turbos. So i am going with Honda, they do have a CVS system similar to the AFM but with fewer problems. Do your homework is an under statement! Watch lots of Youtube videos on whatever you are considering buying.

One thing that bothers me, no matter what manufacturer, anytime someone goes into the third row, they never ever move the middle seat up. So everyone is always on man the leg room isn't great. Move the middle seat to where a normal person would sit. And then talk about the third row. Again not saying it's this video but watch any other video, everyone slams the second row seat all the way back and then they wonder why they can't fit

Definitely saving this video to come back to when i have time

Im very interested in the Chevy Traverse and GMC terrain with my growing family. Little Renegade is getting a bit tight and I want something that can access easy trails and forest service roads.

I think you can gain more miles on a gallon if you install a throttle controller. It has multiple functions, making the car more responsive therefore more instant power, and more economical - more fuel efficient, and more.

Overall great review as usual from TFL. I think I might actually prefer when you guys do these videos solo since it’s just your own thoughts and opinions in the moment. Also, I like the new design and features of the Acadia, as well as the clear & distinct differences between the trim levels. GM with another good job on model update/redesign 👍🏻

Have the Chevy for three years and 76, 000 miles not one single problem. Great vehicle!

I think people will curb the crap out of the 22" wheels. My wife does it with 20" wheels. I like the overall look of the Traverse. But the GMC interior is nicer except for that awful screen.

It’s a shame we don’t get this size of SUV in the UK.
